When Yancey York graduated from Wallace State in 2013 with an Associate in Applied Science in Flight Technology, it was about a week before she graduated from Cullman Christian School. As a Fast Track student at Wallace State from 2012 to 2014, she was able to earn both college and high school credit.

Shane Morrow said earning his degree in Machine Tool Technology at Wallace State Community College opened many doors to further his career. The Jasper resident had worked in the field most of his adult life but did not have the degree that has now allowed him to begin teaching others.

Dr. Andrea Johnson

When Dr. Andrea Johnson of Huntsville enrolled in classes at Wallace State Community College in 1997, she already had a bachelor’s degree in Exercise Science and Wellness. But after speaking with a friend who had graduated from the Physical Therapist Assistant program at Wallace State, she decided to apply to the program as a pathway to reach her goal of becoming a physical therapist.
