TOUR HIGHLIGHTS & INCLUSIONS
Anyone Can Travel with the Alumni Association! Space is limited so register early.
On this tour, while enjoying holiday decorations and traditions, we explore the history of Southern Louisiana all the way back to 1716 - even before the time when sugar cane and the Mighty Mississippi were king. Hear how Germans, Acadians, Africans and Native Americans all played integral roles in shaping Louisiana’s heritage. For a bit more “modern” history, we tour the National World War II Museum in New Orleans and will be entertained during lunch at a USO-inspired holiday show presented by the Victory Belles. To end the tour, nothing will leave you in the holiday spirit more than a visit to Canton, Mississippi’s Christmas Festival – something out of a Hallmark movie!

Tours of Oak Alley and Destrehan Plantations
